Ashley Stambouli: Designing for the Moment a Woman Lights Up Again

Ashley Stambouli started in 2019 from her home in Miami, taking care of her first clients one at a time and creating made-to-measure pieces. What began as a personal dream gradually took shape, becoming an atelier and, later, a brand with an increasingly clear vision: dressing a woman’s important moments.

The Venezuelan designer doesn’t think of a dress as an isolated object. At first she thought more about the piece itself; today she thinks about the emotion that woman will experience while wearing it. A bride, a guest, a client looking at herself in the mirror before an event — that’s where her work centers. What’s left of a dress once the night ends? For Ashley, what remains is how it made the person who wore it feel.

The presentation of Lumière in March 2026 marked a before and after. The collection took her brand from an intimate space to a proposal with international reach. Inspired by Miami’s light, by transition, and by identity, Lumière speaks of women who can inhabit several worlds and shine in all of them.

French Chantilly-style lace, handcrafted embroidery, fluid fabrics, and flowers worked into appliqués and details build a romantic, luminous, and timeless collection. Each silhouette is designed to move with the body, between soft lines and defined structures.

Ashley has learned that patience is also part of luxury. Creating made-to-order pieces demands a balance between art and business, but also a close relationship with each client. For her, a message after an event, when a woman shares how she felt in her dress, is worth more than any review.

While preparing SS27 for Paris Fashion Week and her participation in New York Fashion Week with FDLA, Ashley keeps intact the atelier spirit she started with. Her goal is to grow without losing that intention: giving value back to time, to craftsmanship, and to pieces created to mean something.
