Gaby and Neto Coppel: Los Cabos Through the Lens of Luxury, Vision, and Legacy
There are those who inhabit a destination, and then there are those who define it. Gaby and Neto Coppel are effortlessly the latter.
To speak about them is to speak about Los Cabos from a privileged perspective, but also from one deeply connected to its evolution. Not as a passing trend destination, but as a place that has learned how to engage with international tourism, luxury hospitality, gastronomy, architecture, and now, fashion.
Through Gaby’s eyes, Los Cabos is not just a beach destination. It is a lifestyle. It is openness, air, effortless elegance, and a very particular understanding of luxury: never excessive, never loud, but always intentional.
During our conversation, Gaby shared how Los Cabos has become one of Mexico’s most sophisticated destinations, home to world-class hotels, extraordinary restaurants, and an international community that understands the value of carefully curated experiences.
And this is where Neto Coppel’s story becomes especially significant.
Because if Los Cabos today carries a narrative of luxury, vision, and international appeal, it is impossible to speak about that transformation without mentioning Neto— a figure who, through hospitality and tourism development, has played an essential role in building that image.
Neto Coppel does not merely represent the successful businessman. He represents the man who understood before many others that Los Cabos could become far more than a tourist destination — it could become a brand of desire.
That is why, when people refer to him as “the king,” it is not an exaggeration. It is recognition of a vision that helped position Los Cabos as an aspirational, elegant, and highly valuable destination for Mexico.
Gaby, on the other hand, brings a different yet complementary sensibility. The way she speaks about the destination blends pride, memory, and vision for the future. She understands that luxury does not exist solely within hotels, but in the way a place is welcomed, dressed, experienced, and ultimately told to the world.
There is a natural elegance about her. Never forced. Never manufactured for the camera. An elegance rooted in the harmony between who you are and what you project. During the interview, she spoke about the importance of personal image and how fashion should always reflect authenticity.
And that connects perfectly with the spirit of Los Cabos Fashion Week.
Because a fashion event in Los Cabos should never feel like a random runway placed inside a tourist destination. It should feel like an extension of the place itself: sophisticated, warm, international, Mexican, and deeply visual.
Gaby understands this. For her, platforms like these have the power to strengthen both the tourism and economic conversation surrounding Los Cabos when communicated with strategy, promotion, and clear vision.
And that is the key: it is not simply about bringing fashion to Los Cabos. It is about allowing Los Cabos to speak through fashion.

Los Cabos Fashion Week was created with a clear purpose: to honor the spirit of this destination while building a platform that can grow with excellence, intention, and global relevance. I am deeply grateful to officially welcome Gabriela ‘Gaby’ Camus and Neto Coppel as our Ambassadors, effective May 2026. Their legacy, leadership, and love for Los Cabos represent exactly the kind of vision that will help us expand this project — and elevate what Los Cabos can communicate to the world through fashion.”
With Gaby and Neto Coppel as Ambassadors, the conversation takes on an entirely different dimension. Because they do not merely represent social presence or attendance at events. They represent history, influence, entrepreneurial vision, and a very refined understanding of contemporary Mexican luxury.
Los Cabos, through their eyes, becomes more than a destination. It becomes a promise — a promise of beauty, sophistication, future, and belonging.
